About the Game
Joker Wild Double Up is an online video poker game. The game plays by the standard 52-card deck, with a single wild card that can replace the missing card in traditional poker hands, allowing formation of unusual hands.
The main aim of the game is to collect a paid hand. In order to do this, players can exchange up to five cards, once, for free.
Wagers in Joker Wild Double Up are a little different. You can wager up to five coins on one, five, or twenty five hands. The value of the wager depends on the number of active pay-lines. An example would be; If you bet on a single hand, the coin can cost from £0.10 to £10. Whereas if you play twenty five hands, the coin value ranges from £0.01 to £0.50. If the player chooses a single hand, they receive five cards and exchange however many cards they want. If any paid poker hand is formed, the player receives the payout.
There are 10 different types of paid poker hands;
1- Royal Flush: This hand consists of an A, K, Q, J and 10 of the same suit.
2- Straight Flush: Five hands in a sequence, all of the same suit. E.g. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of hearts.
3- Four of a kind: All 4 cards of the same rank.
4- Full house: Three of a kind, with a pair. E.g. 3 x J, 2x Q
5- Flush: Any five cards of the same suite, but not in sequence.
6- Straight: Five cards in a sequence, of different suits.
7- Three of a kind: Three cards of the same rank
8- Two Pairs: Two different pairs.
9- Pair: Two cards of the same rank.
10- High Card: When you haven’t made any of the hands above, the highest card plays. E.g. in a hand of 3, 5, 2, 8 and J, the Jack plays as the highest card.
If the player puts a wager on a number of hands, they will see the first five cards on the initial line. Cards that are not discarded appear in all hands and new cards for each are dealt from individual decks (that don't contain the held cards). Payouts for all hands are credited.
