Atlantic City Blackjack Gameplay
Atlantic City Blackjack basically follows the rules of Blackjack as well all know them. The dealer lays out two cards for each player, and as the player you try and get as close as possible without passing 21, therefore going bust. An Ace can count as either a ten or a one depending on what suits the player.
So, if you have a five and an Ace in your hand, that would probably be 15. At this point, if you ask for a hit and get a six, that’s perfect. However, if you get a King (so, 10), that Ace could revert back to a one so at this point you would be sat on a 16, and then it’s your call as to whether you want to push on to get closer to 21 or simply stay where you are and hope that the other players and the dealer have a lower hand than you (probably quite unlikely in this particular example).
The great thing about Microgaming’s take on Classic Blackjack is that, although the house retains the favourite odds as is always the case in Blackjack, in person or online, Atlantic City Blackjack only gives the ‘house’ an odds advantage of 0.35% which is incredibly fair of Microgaming and means that as players, we have a real good chance of getting a decent win in this game.
In fact, there’s probably better opportunity to win here than there is in the best online slots, so definitely consider giving it a go.
